The Discussion Device is equipped with a possible-to-speak indicator and a request-to-speak indicator, which help users know when they can speak and when their request to speak has been added to a waiting list. The device comes with a flexible stem microphone that can be adjusted to suit the user’s comfort, and users can choose between a short or long stem. There is also a built-in loudspeaker with a volume control that is centrally controlled from the Control Unit. The device allows for an authentic face-to-face meeting feeling by allowing the loudspeaker and microphone to be on at the same time. Additionally, there is a headphones socket and a built-in volume control for headphones, which can be adjusted using a rotary thumbwheel.
